I love fall. I have always loved it, and I suppose I always will. October 27th is the day my mom passed away and she loved fall. It’s also my son Corban’s birthday and he enjoys everything about fall too especially Friday Night Lights. And while most people love fall for its pumpkins, its football, its festivals, colors and smells—for me, with every crunch of the leaves under my sneakers, and every Harvest moon, I will always be reminded of cherished hellos and bittersweet goodbyes, of Life and love that comes and goes as quickly as the leaves turn. Hug the necks of those you care for this season and take a minute to love and live.
“Even if something is left undone, everyone must take time to sit stilland watch the leaves turn.” -E. Lawrence
